Koffie & Thee Nederland is the national voice of Dutch coffee and tea companies. Together we are committed to the responsible growth of the coffee and tea sector in the Netherlands by optimizing the business climate and positioning coffee and tea as sustainable and healthy products. The coffee and tea sector is an important sector for the Netherlands. As a country, we are in the top 5 largest coffee drinkers and top 15 largest tea drinkers in the world. In addition, a lot of coffee and tea reaches the rest of Europe via our ports.

As a national association, we bundle knowledge and expertise for and by the sector. This way we can proactively represent the interests of the coffee and tea sector. Our core tasks are therefore:
Advocacy
Koffie & Thee Nederland is the voice of its members with government, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and other relevant stakeholders.
Knowledge platform
Koffie & Thee Nederland fulfills a role as a knowledge platform. Knowledge sharing for, but certainly also by members is facilitated and stimulated by the Koffie & Thee Nederland team. This way we build a solid position together and help the sector further.
Association
The management of the association, including support for the board and various committees and expert groups, membership administration and the organization of member meetings.
External communication
Koffie & Thee Nederland is the main point of contact and spokesperson for the sector on cross-company issues.
Team Koffie & Thee Nederland
The team of Koffie & Thee Nederland is responsible for the daily progress of association affairs, identification of relevant developments for the sector, policy preparation and implementation as well as advocacy.
